WEBER-HYDRAULIK GmbH on course for further growth.

65 years after it was first founded by Emil Weber, the company based in Güglingen, Germany, is far from reaching its potential growth limits.

As an acknowledged specialist in hydraulic cylinders, pumps and components as well as a wide range of rescue equipment for fire brigades and emergency rescue units, WEBER-HYDRAULIK gives the highest priority to consistently addressing future market challenges, adding fresh momentum and safeguarding the maximum benefits for its customers.

In 2006 the company established a sales unit in the USA, substantially expanded its works in Austria and successfully started production in a new plant in Poland.

However, the consistent development of strategic partnerships and the associated improvements in its technological problem-solving capabilities and its market acceptance are likewise of decisive importance to the company.

Here too, WEBER-HYDRAULIK has further success to report.

In the interest of further expanding the competence of the WEBER Group in the field of drive and control systems, with effect from
01 January 2007 the company has acquired LOG Hydraulik GmbH in Unterahrain and FLUIDTEAM Automationstechnik GmbH
in Constance. These two businesses generate an annual sales of approx. EUR 30 million with a workforce of some 160 staff.

Both companies have for many years been successful in special hydraulic markets thanks to their outstanding ability to innovate. Their products including hydraulic power units, valves and control units for both mobile and stationary hydraulics will ideally complement the WEBER-HYDRAULIK programme.

Their existing and new customers will in future benefit from the expanded range of high-quality hydraulic components and integrated application-specific system solutions which the Group as a system partner with a workforce of over 900 is able to offer.

Amalgamating the three businesses makes it possible to merge the partners' individual strengths and exploit a wide range of synergies. Internationally, the Group's competitiveness is substantially increased.

With its broad new outlook, there is a real prospect that the WEBER Group will boost consolidated sales well above the EUR 170 million mark in 2007, with profitable growth continuing in future years to the benefit of jobs at all Group locations.
